Police and transit officials have reopened a Metrorail station in Northwest Miami-Dade after officers dealt with a person who climbed to the top.

Crews arrived at the station near NW 79th Street and 31st Avenue shortly before 7:30 a.m., where a person could be seen speaking to an officer while sitting on a guardrail.

Electricity was shut off in the area and train service halted for over a hour until officials were able to get the person down and reopen the station.

Some delays are expected as a result.
