All Blood Type Needed To Treat Stoneman Douglas Shooting Victims

As doctors continue to treat victims of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, there is a heightened need for the all blood type, according to OneBlood.

The organization says immediate blood needs have been met, but there is an increased need to replenish their supplies.  After the shooting, the agency called for O negative donors as it is the universal blood type.

Anyone who wants to donate blood can visit a donor center or the Big Red Bus blood drive and donate. Appointments are strongly recommended can be made online at www.oneblood.org.
