Obama Bets Hot Dog That Bulls Beat the Heat

Obama bets a Chicago hot dog versus a Cuban Fritas the Bulls prevail

Miami's Big Three have been unstoppable in the NBA playoffs, but can they overcome the will of a President?

Barack Obama, who loves everything Chicago (except for maybe Rod Blagojevich), has officially chimed in on the Eastern Conference Finals, stating the Chicago Bulls will beat the Miami Heat.

And as any true, confident fan would, Obama is willing to bet some food on it.

A Miami reporter recently asked the leader of the free world who he liked if the two teams met and after giving his prediction, Obama told the reporter he would wager a world-famous Chicago hot dog that NBA MVP Derrick Rose would triumph over Chicago native Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

The reporter countered with Miami's internationally known Cuban Fritas, CNN.com reports.

Never one to shy away from a bet or a good meal, Obama took the deal.

"I've had those and they're very good…so you've got a bet," Obama said.

We must admit, this looks like a win-win for the president. Even if he loses, he has a full belly. And a hot dog hardly seems like a fair trade for Miami cuisine.

Wade and Obama have become pretty good buddies since Obama took office, but it looks like even the Commander in Chief is against the Heat winning the NBA Championship this year.
