Miami-Dade Police responded to an officer-involved shooting Wednesday evening, the third in Miami-Dade County in 24 hours.
It happened around 9:20 p.m. near Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 95th Street.
It's unclear what led to the shooting, but MDPD said it was non-contact.
Earlier Wednesday around 11 a.m., a suspect was killed in a shooting involving a Florida Highway Patrol motorcycle trooper in Miami Gardens.
A couple hours later, an armed teen was injured in a shooting in southwest Miami-Dade involving MDPD officers.
