Officials say they have found the body of a boater who went missing near Key Biscayne.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission said 31-year-old Paul Flowers disappeared Sunday after jumping into the water from a boat in Nixon Beach to help another boat that was caught on the rocks.
FWC spokesman Lorenzo Veloz said a group of 16 people had gone out that day on two rental boats when one of the boats got stuck. That's when two men jumped into the water to help dislodge the other boat, only to find themselves in distress.
Officials say one of men was rescued. The body of Flowers, of New York City, was found early Monday, FWC officials said.
