A man has died after being shot multiple times in Liberty City Sunday afternoon, police said.
The shooting happened around 1 p.m. in the 1400 block of NW 69th Street. Miami Police spokesperson Kenia Fallat said the victim, a man in his 20s, was confronted by a man who pointed a gun and shot at him. Fallat said the shooting may have stemmed from an argument between the gunman and the victim.
The victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in extremely critical condition, where he later died.
Police said this is the first homicide of 2015 in the city of Miami.
