One person was in critical condition after a boat slammed into a jetty in Dania Beach Tuesday morning.
According to Broward Sheriff's Fire Rescue, the crash happened at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park – formerly known as John Lloyd Beach State Park.
Officials said the vessel had difficulty navigating the dark waters before one person was ejected and three others were injured.
Patients were transported to Broward Health with various injuries, but are expected to recover.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said all four people were transported to Broward Health Medical Center.
The ejected female is in critical condition, while everyone else is expected to recover.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
