#OnlyInFlorida Moments & MoviePass: A Look At What Went Viral

What do Disney, Lance Bass and MoviePass have in common? They all went viral this week! Here’s a short roundup of some of the things that went viral.

MoviePass Offers New Plans: All the movies you can watch for $10? Not a bad deal, right? Well it was … for MoviePass, at least. The company is facing a lot of criticism lately after many people tried to use their MoviePass cards at the theater – but the cards were declining. After a cash infusion and another outage, MoviePass announced that subscribers can see three movies per month for $8. The CEO says the new plan will help stop drain the company’s cash flow.

Alligator Goes Viral for Getting Serious Scrub Down: An alligator named Seven was getting a serious back scrub on Monday at the Everglades Holiday Park in Ft. Lauderdale. The video was shared more than 28,000 times and got more than 1.4 million views. Can you say Only in Florida?!

HGTV Buys Brady Bunch House: After all the Lance Bass/Brady Bunch house drama came to an end, we finally know who bought the house. Bass announced that he had purchased the house – or so he thought. Unfortunately, he had to say 'Bye Bye Bye’ to the house, because HGTV came in with a higher bid. Bass said no hard feeling – especially since he loves HGTV.

Disney Sleep Hotline: Are your kids having trouble falling asleep and do they love Disney (Sounds like we’re talking about me here)? Now they can call the Disney Sleep Hotline. You can hear special bedtime messages from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy or Goofy. But hurry up and use it – the service runs until August 31. You can call the number at 1-877-7-MICKEY.
