A Florida man accused of sexually abusing a toddler has been sentenced to 42 years in jail for producing and possessing child pornography.
A judge sentenced 43-year-old Timothy Sedlak on Monday in Orlando.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the child-porn investigation began during a federal investigation into the hacking of a Manhattan-based global nonprofits computer network.
Sedlak told investigators he was trying to find connections between charities and jihadist groups, but agents contended he was doing illegal hacking. During a search of Sedlak's home, agents found children's toys but he said he lived alone.
As they searched his computers, they found child porn, including one of him sexually assaulting a small child.
A jury found him guilty in May. He's awaiting trial on the hacking charges.
