Drivers can expect some changes on State Road 826 at Southwest Eighth Street starting Thursday night.
All northbound SR 826 travel lanes will be closed nightly at Southwest Eighth Street on Thursday, Feb. 11 and again Feb. 14-18 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. The closures are taking place in order to allow for the installation of overhead sign structures and panels.

To navigate around the closures, drivers can:
- Exit at SW 8 Street, go west to NW 87 Avenue, north on NW 87 Avenue
- Enter the eastbound SR 836 ramp to access the northbound SR 826 flyover bridge
Drivers on northbound SR 826 going to eastbound SR 836 can:
- Exit at SW 8 Street, go east to NW 57 Avenue, north on NW 57 Avenue
- Enter the eastbound SR 836 ramp
Drivers on northbound SR 826 going to westbound SR 836 can:
- Exit at SW 8 Street, go west to NW 87 Avenue, north on NW 87 Avenue
- Turn west at NW 12 Street to access the westbound SR 836 ramp
Eastbound drivers on SW 8 Street going north on SR 826 can:
- Go east to NW 57 Avenue, north on NW 57 Avenue
- Enter the westbound SR 836 ramp to access the SR 826 north ramp
Westbound drivers on SW 8 Street going north on SR 826 can:
- Go west to NW 87 Avenue, north on NW 87 Avenue
- Enter the eastbound SR 836 ramp to access the northbound SR 826 flyover bridge
If weather or any other unforeseen conditions affect the closures, they will be scheduled on the next available night.
