A Palm Beach County sheriff's deputy was arrested after he was allegedly caught on camera stealing medication and other items from a dead man's home.
The family of the 85-year-old man released the video Tuesday which shows Deputy Jason Cooke going through the home during a welfare check.
The homeowner died after falling and hitting his head during a power outage after Hurricane Irma hit last month, WPTV reported.
Cooke used the garage door entry code to get into the home, then stole money, jewelry and prescription medication, the family said.
Cooke was charged with burglary and grand theft with a firearm.
