A Davie man is facing charges after he allegedly showed pornographic videos to a group of Boy Scouts.
Mark Kern was acting as a parent leader at an event at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Sunrise last November when police say he showed five Boy Scouts a photo of a naked woman and played porn videos on his phone.
According to the arrest affidavit, police spoke separately with the five Boy Scouts who all provided similar descriptions of the incident. Police say Kern also later admitted to showing the boys the video clips.
He faces charges of delivering obscene material to a minor.
The Boy Scouts said they removed Kern as a parent leader in December of last year.
