A man was hospitalized after he intervened in a dispute that led to a shooting at a Sunrise gas station.
Police said the incident occurred in the area of 6099 W. Sunrise Boulevard in Plantation on Friday.
Steven Palmer, 31, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen when he intervened in an argument between two men. The driver of a white Hyundai fired his weapon, police said.
All people involved stayed at the scene. Police are reviewing surveillance video to investigate the shooting.
Palmer was being treated at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Health Medical Center.
