Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said Bryant had suffered a gunshot to the face. He was pronounced dead.

One witness said he heard the gunshots ring out.

"It was a lot. He unloaded. Whoever did this shooting unloaded," the man said. "I’m telling you, it was like 15 to 20 shots."

The man, who didn't want his name used, lives down the block from where the shooting happened and said shootings are common in the neighborhood.

"You’re used to this in this neighborhood. You want to go inside. You don’t want to catch a stray bullet," he said. "They hang out there all night long. There’s people hanging there and making noise all day long. It’s gonna happen. There’s a shooting today, they’ll be another shooting tomorrow. It’s just the neighborhood we live in and it’s a shame."

A police investigation is underway.
