Phones, Devices Banned From Chris Rock's Performances Inside Hard Rock Live in Hollywood

If you’re heading to tonight’s show with legendary comedian Chris Rock at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, you won’t be able to freely check your phone during the event.

Starting with last night’s show inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, those attending where told to either leave their phones at home or in their cars. If they were brought in, they had to be locked inside a case provided by the venue before the performance began.

Rock’s “Total Blackout Tour 2017” is the first such event inside the Hard Rock live to be phone and device free. The company Yondr is providing lockable boxes for phones, smart watches and cameras. If someone needs to use their phone, stations are provided around the venue to unlock the boxes.

Several comedians and musical acts have partnered with Yondr to do the same thing are their events. At a performance earlier this year in Coral Springs, comedian Dave Chappelle also said no to phones during his show.

If you are found using your device during Rock’s performance, be prepared: you will be ejected and no refund will be issued.
