Photos Show Bloody Aftermath of Miami Shootout

Photos showing the aftermath of a Miami shootout that ended with the death of a Canadian diplomat's son and another man were exclusively obtained by NBC 6 Thursday.

On Wednesday, a judge determined that 15-year-old Marc Wabafiyebazu must remain behind bars. He charged in the March 30 shootout that killed his older brother Jean and Joshua Wright.

Police say the slayings happened after the Wabafiyebazu brothers, the sons of diplomat Roxanne Dube, tried to rob marijuana dealers.

The photos depict a bloody scene inside the apartment where Wright and Jean Wabafiyebazu had their fatal encounter. Pools of blood on the floor along with identifying marks for shell casings, bullet holes in the walls, one of the weapons from the shootout, the clothing one of the shooters had on, are all seen in the photos.

Police said a surveillance video shows brothers Jean and Marc arriving for what sources say was a drug ripoff of alleged dealer Wright. Photos show some of the marijuana and the inventoried bloodied cash found at the scene.

After the gunfire inside, the video shows Marc Wabafiyebazu exiting the vehicle, running over to a car that was driven away by Anthony Rodriguez, police said. Marc Wabafiyebazu was taken into custody by arriving police.

Marc Wabafiyebazu faces charges of felony murder and attempted murder. He has pleaded not guilty.
