Police are looking for a thief who was caught on camera robbing a Miami Burger King at gunpoint.
The robbery happened at the fast food eatery at 5401 Northwest 7th Avenue back on July 30 and was captured on surveillance cameras, Miami Police officials said.
Police said an employee was leaving after her shift when she was confronted by the suspect, who ordered her inside at gunpoint. The suspect made his way to the back where the shift manager was counting money.
The suspect ordered the manager to give him the money and he placed it in a bag, even dumping loose change into the bag. The suspect was also able to take money from the safe at the front of the restaurant, police said.
The suspect fled on foot and possibly got into a 4-door sedan. Police described the suspect as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-9 to 6-foot, and about 180 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
