Police have identified the mother and her young daughter who died after they were pulled from a pool in Coral Springs over the weekend.
Heidi Geselle Marrero, 32, and 5-year-old Joneily Lanclos were found unresponsive in the pool at the Sherwood Square Apartment complex Sunday afternoon, Coral Springs Police said Monday.
They were rushed to Broward Health Coral Springs where they later died.
"They did go down to the pool early this afternoon. At this time, it's possible they were under water over an hour," Coral Springs Police Sgt. Carla Kmiotek said.
The 911 call from the man who found the pair in the pool was also released Monday.
"There is, there is two kids inside the pool. I, I think they are dead. Ah! My God!" the man tells the 911 operator.
Detectives said Lanclos was wearing a bathing suit but Marrero was in street clothes.

Police are still investigating what led up to the incident.
