Police Arrest Suspect in Key Biscayne Home Invasion Robbery

The suspect captured on camera robbing a home in Key Biscayne has been arrested.

Police said the man behind the crime, 23-year-old Vincent Todd Johnson, Jr, turned himself in to South Miami Police overnight and was booked into jail.

Johnson faces mutliple charges, including robbery and kidnapping with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery and armed burglary. He's currently being held on no bond.

On Dec. 2nd, detectives say Johnson broke into a home on Woodcrest Lane and confronted the housekeeper, Blanca Vargas. Surveillance video showed the suspect rummaging inside the home.

The crook tied up the housekeeper with plastic ties and demanded cash. Detectives say he got away with some personal items. The housekeeper suffered minor injuries.
