Police Investigate Roof Burglaries in South Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade Police are looking for a pair of burglars who have broken into a local business through the roof or walls on several occasions.

The most recent burglary happened May 5 at a market at 11607 Southwest 216th St. in Miami, police said.

About $7,500 worth of property and lottery tickets were stolen from that location, police said.

Police believe the burglars enter through the roofs or walls of adjacent businesses. Surveillance footage caught the incident on video, police said.

The video shows the suspects climb down through the roof before they ransack the store and leave back through the roof.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
