Police are investigating after a woman was fatally shot in Miami Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 9:55 p.m. in the area of Southwest 35th Avenue and 4th Street in Little Havana, officials said.

Police arrived to find the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Officials said the woman was in her 30s. Her name wasn't released.
No other information was immediately available.
