Police are investigating a possible road rage incident that ended with a man arrested on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade Thursday, officials said.
Miami-Dade Police said they received a call of a road rage incident that started on Southwest 8th Street. The woman told police that another driver was following her and the driver had flashed a gun at her, officials said.
Officers were able to track down both vehicles on the Palmetto, where the commotion shut down three northbound lanes for a brief time.
Police said 41-year-old Juan Jose Vargas was arrested at the scene on aggravated assault charges. A gun was also taken as evidence, officials said.
