Police Looking for Woman Who Stole Cash, High-End Items From Man in Bal Harbour

Police are looking for a woman who stole cash and some luxury items from a Bal Harbour man and authorities say it's not the first time she's done it.

Alexandria Layce Martinez-Davis, 24, is wanted by Bal Harbour Police in connection with a theft that happened last September.

"We located her attorney, made contact with her attorney in an effort to get her to surrender herself to the Ball Harbor Police Department, but thus far we've been unsuccessful," Capt. Miguel De La Rosa said.

Police said Martinez-Davis went to the victim's home around 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 13. After she left, the man noticed his Rolex watch, Gucci shoes and $2,000 in cash were missing, police said.

Surveillance video showed Martinez-Davis entering an elevator wearing the man's shoes, police said.

Police said Martinez-Davis met the man at Club Liv at the Fontainebleau. She got away with $16,000 in cash and merchandise, police said.

Records showed Martinez-Davis was arrested for a similar incident in Miami Beach in November, police said. In that case, Martinez-Davis was arrested for stealing two Rolex watches from a man she met at Club Liv, according to an arrest report.

Officials said there may be more victims out there but too many men are too embarrassed to report it.

"I believe it happens more than it's being reported," Capt. De La Rosa said. "These women are predators in one sense, they purposely look for individuals with money or wealth and they try to seduce or victimize them."

Police said Martinez-Davis is 5-foot-5 and 135 pounds. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Bal Harbour Police at 305-866-5000.
