Broward Sheriff deputies seized nearly 40 pounds of marijuana from a home in Weston on Wednesday.
The raid occurred on April 20 at a home on the 16000 block of Southwest 5th Court in Weston.
According to the police report, the BSO SWAT Team conducted a search of the home, which revealed it had been converted to a marijuana grow house.
Police recovered nearly 40 pounds of cannabis and an additional nine pounds of edibles containing THC. Numerous scales, electrical converters and high output lights were located throughout the home.
Police arrested 40-year-old Frantz Theard Wednesday. Theard is the only resident of the home, police said.
Theard is charged with trafficking cannabis, possession with intent to sell manufacture and deliver THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
