Police Release Photos of Miami Gardens Fatal Shooting

Miami Gardens Police investigators have released surveillance photos in an effort to solve a fatal shooting case, that took the life of an innocent man.

The shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. Monday outside a convenience store at 4195 Northwest 167th Street.

When police arrived, they found 38-year-old Bered "Ben" Pierre suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation revealed Pierre was on the clock and was sitting in his work van, parked outside the store.

Police said a subject approached and began shooting at two other individuals who were in the same parking lot. Pierre was struck in the crossfire.

Police have released surveillance photos of the homicide in an attempt to identify the subject and subject vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'7" and 150 pounds. He was wearing camouflage shorts, red polo shirt, black sully shoes and camouflage bandanna over his face. The vehicle involved was a red Ford Explorer.
