Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera knocking on the front door of a southwest Miami-Dade home multiple times before he's believed to have broke in through the back door.
The homeowner, who does not want to be identified, says she received an alert on her phone Thursday around 5 p.m.
"I took a look at it and it was someone who I didn't know. It wasn't a delivery guy," she told NBC 6 Tuesday.
She was out of town, but called her husband to check up on the house.
"When he got here they had left but he noticed the back door had been broken in to, the glass was shattered," she said.
It appears the burglar did not steal anything, however, residents of the quiet neighborhood near Southwest 94th Avenue and 65th Street are now frightened he may try again.
"Unfortunately, now we're all on pins and needles. We don't feel safe and we're just wondering if they're gonna come back and now try to break into someone else's home," the homeowner said.
