Police Searching For Suspected Miami-Dade Serial Robber Involved in Up to Six Cases

Miami-Dade Police and City of Miami Police are searching for a suspected serial robber they believe is involved in as many as six different crimes across the area.

All of the cases, officials say, have occured within the last few weeks. The first one took place on April 18th, when a CVS was robbed off Flagler St. and 37th Avenue. Eight days later, the man struck a gas station off Flagler Street and 47th Avenue before robbing the RaceTrac gas station off Northwest 198th Street and 57th Avenue.

Then,  this past Tuesday, the same person went into the 7-11 store off Northwest 184th Street and 67th Avenue around 2:15 a.m. After taking an item from a cooler, he went to the register and again pulled out a gun and demanded money, which the employee game the robber before he fled the scene.

Officers say that same day, the suspect robbed both a CVS located on SW 8th Street and 27th Avenue and a Walgreens off Flagler Street and 27th Avenue.

In each case, no one was hurt and investigators believe the robber, described as a white male in his 20’s around 6’ tall and weighing 200 lbs., is the same person involved in two other cases in the city of Miami on April 18th .

Police said during a Thursday news conference that the man they are looking for does the same thing at each stop - acts like he is buying something and later pulls out a gun when the employee opens the register.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers or the Miami-Dade Police Department.
