Pompano Beach Man Arrested on Charges of Possession, Sending of Child Porn

Broward Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Pompano Beach man on multiple charges involving the alleged sending of child porn images and encouraging sexual acts on young children during webcam shows.

Kevin Macek was arrested Monday morning and faces a total of 11 counts – including possession and transmission of child porn and solicitation of a child.

According to the arrest report, a BSO task forced aimed at fighting internet crimes against children was notified by an internet provider that an ISP address was sharing pornographic images of children through an incident messaging service – with four images being of children between the ages of 7 and 14 posing in provocative ways while exposing their private parts.

Police later obtained a warrant and placed Macek under arrest, where the 41-year-old admitted to sending the photos while also encouraging another man to perform sex acts on camera with an underage girl so Macek could watch. That man and his wife were also placed under arrest.

Deputies also confiscated a phone at Macek’s home that had three videos showing girls as young as 11 years old naked and either performing sex acts on themselves or being assaulted by an older man.
