A postal worker was hospitalized Tuesday after being attacked by a dog in Miami.
The postal worker was bitten on the hand and arm by the dog while she was delivering mail in the 2100 block of Southwest 24th Terrace in Miami.
Witnesses came to the worker's aid and were able to get the dog away from her.
According to Miami Police, the postal worker was transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma with serious injuries.
No one else was hurt. No further details have been released.
