Precautionary Boil Water Notice in Effect for Hendricks Isle in Ft. Lauderdale

The City of Fort Lauderdale has issued a precautionary boil water notice for parts of Hendricks Isle.

The city said they are implementing the notice because they are completing emergency repairs to water infrastructure.

The notice is in effect for the properties on the east side of Hendricks Isle from number 28 to 535.

The city says the boil water notice will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink.

Residents are being told that they should boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.

The city says that anyone with questions can call the 24-hour Neighbor Call Center at 954-828-8000.
