Precautionary Water Boil Notice Issued in Hialeah

Hialeah residents are urged to boil their water before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes until further notice.

The City of Hialeah has issued a precautionary water boil notice due to low water pressure in the area.

The low water pressure is affecting areas from the north city limit, south to west 60th Street and west of the Palmetto Expressway.

Officials urge residents to bring all water to a rolling boil for one minute or use bottled water for drinking, making ice, preparing food and washing dishes until contamination is ruled out.
