Prolific Smash-and-Grab Burglars Strike Again in Dania Beach: BSO

A prolific pair of smash-and-grab burglars have struck again at a Dania Beach sports bar, officials said.

The latest burglary happened July 27 at Andy's Sports Bar at 2129 Stirling Road, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

Surveillance video showed the burglars toss a cement parking bumper through the bar's glass door. One of the suspects grabbed the cash register and they fled.

Detectives believe the same two men are responsible for at least 30 similar crimes in Broward since May. The pair have "wreaked havoc" at restaurants, dollar stores, bakeries and other businesses, usually striking in the early morning hours when the businesses are closed, officials said.

The men have been seen in a white Chrysler Pacifica and a silver Chevrolet Malibu. One suspect is thin with medium-length dreadlocks and facial hair. He has extensive tattoos on his left arm, hand, upper torso and back and a smaller tattoo inside his right arm, officials said. The second suspect has an athletic build with tattoos on both arms and a full beard.

A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
