Publix Issues Recall For Ice Cream Flavor Over Listeria Concerns

Publix Supermarkets are issuing a recall for one flavor of their popular ice cream over concerns about a possible Listeria contamination.

The company is notifying customers who have purchased cartons of the Chocolate Cookie Dough ice cream about the recall after they were told of a possible contamination from the company that provides the cookie dough pieces.

The ice cream was sold in several states, including Florida, with a sell by date of May 27, 2017 listed on the bottom of the carton.

Customers can return their ice cream to any local Publix store for a full refund and contact the supermarket’s Customer Care department at 1-800-242-1227 or online by clicking here.
