Rapid Fire: Olympic Gymnast Laurie Hernandez Gets Personal

Q: Heels or Sneakers? A: Sneakers

Olympic medalist Laurie Hernandez is among the top gymnasts in the world. A member of USA’s “Fab Five” women’s gymnastics team, the 16-year-old star made her Olympic debut in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, while digging her way into America’s heart.

Roxanne Vargas caught up with the young gymnast in Miami to play a quick game “Rapid Fire” questions before the “Dancing with the Stars” champ received the Latinovator Award at Hispanicize 2017.

Roxy: You have gorgeous and curly hair. Curly or straight?

Laurie: Depends on the day. Curly right now.

Roxy: Heels or sneakers?

Laurie: Sneakers

Roxy: Flip flops or barefoot?

Laurie: Barefoot

Roxy: Beach or city?

Laurie: Beach

Roxy: Would you rather do balance beam or floor?

Laurie: Floor. I like dancing.

Roxy: What is your favorite dance move? Obviously, you’re like the reigning champion right now on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Laurie: Either the robot or the sprinkler, or the Charleston.
