Miami Police detectives conducted an investigation after receiving an anonymous tip of fraudulent activity taking place inside The Fast Rehabilitation Center, Inc.
The center is located at 815 Northwest 57th Avenue in Miami.
Police said the goal of the operation was to arrest individuals that were involved in staged accidents and who conspired with cooperating clinics, physicians, massage therapists and lawyers to steal money from insurance companies with needless treatments and fake lawsuits.
Investigators have arrested three employees from The Fast Rehabilitation Center: receptionist Dunay Aguiar, therapist Raciel Amigo Curbelo and Dr. Ralph Miniet.
There's no word on what charges they may face or whether they've hired attorneys.
The investigation is ongoing.
