ISIS Group Targets Hundreds of Floridians With ‘Kill List': Report

What to Know

  • A pro-ISIS group calling itself United Cyber Caliphate published what amounts to a "kill list" of people across the world.
  • Nearly 7,850 are from the United States of America. 643 of those names are residents of the state of Florida

As the threat of ISIS continues to keep Americans on their toes, one group that supports the terrorist organization has reportedly released a list of its latest list of targets.

A group calling itself United Cyber Caliphate published what amounts to a "kill list" of people across the world that it encourages ISIS sympathizers to attack, according to Vocativ.

Of the 8,318 names on the list, nearly 7,850 are from the United States of America. 643 of those names are residents of the state of Florida, ranking the Sunshine State second behind California.

UCC released the names, home addresses and emails for the names, encouraging people to follow those listed and "take revenge for Muslims." Names on the list range from local law enforcement officers to members of the State Department.

The group, a merger of other pro-ISIS clusters, calls itself a hacking organzation, but has so far not been able to pull off a hack considered serious by security officals.
