A retired Polk County chiropractor has been charged with 55 counts of possession of child pornography.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office said 76-year-old Samuel Oklesh of Vero Beach was arrested Friday.
Undercover detectives executed a search warrant in December in connection with the investigation. Approximately 500 images and videos of child pornography were found.
According to investigators, the images included infants and children up to age 10.
An arrest warrant for Oklesh was issued but detectives said the retired chiropractor and his live-in ex-wife had moved in the middle of the night.
He was later found to be living at a residence in Indian River County.
