Retrial for Polo Mogul John Goodman Will Get Out-of-Town Jury

The retrial of Wellington polo mogul John Goodman on a DUI manslaughter charge will be heard by a jury chosen outside of Palm Beach County.

Circuit Judge Jeffrey Colbath decided last week that jurors will be chosen beginning Oct. 6 in either Tampa or Jacksonville. Colbath says there's little chance of picking an impartial jury to hear the high-profile retrial.

The exact location of jury selection will be revealed Sept. 29.

The jury will then be brought by police escort to West Palm Beach for the retrial.

Goodman's 2012 conviction was overturned because of a juror's misconduct including a drinking experiment and withholding of key information.

Police say Goodman was drunk when he ran a stop sign in February 2010 and rammed into Scott Patrick Wilson's car, killing him.
