The body of a 12-year-old girl who vanished last week, was found in the water in Pensacola Monday.
Escambia County Sheriff's Office announced the tragic news Monday evening after deputies, search groups and local residents spent days looking for Naomi Jones. A $20,000 reward was offered for information on the 12-year-old's whereabouts.
Naomi disappeared Wednesday afternoon and Sheriff David Morgan said investigators have identified some people they would like to talk to about the disappearance. However, no suspects were ever identified.
Police are investigating the cause of death.
