FBI Serves Search Warrant at North Miami Home

Residents in a section of North Miami woke up early Wednesday morning to an FBI raid happening right in their neighborhood.

NBC 6 has learned that the FBI came to a home early Wednesday morning around 6 a.m. in the area of Northwest 135th Street at Third Avenue to serve a warrant on two brothers.

According to family members, one of the brothers was not home and is still at large, while the other was later apprehended at his job.

The family tells NBC 6 that at least one of the brothers is a suspect in a murder case.

Relatives say five adults and three children were asleep in the home at the time of the raid.

By daylight, law enforcement officials had hauled off a blue Chevy from the property.

Aerial footage early Wednesday morning showed law enforcement officials with guns drawn entering the home.

Police shut down several roads in the area as multiple agencies assisted in the incident. The roads have since been reopened.

No further details were released concerning the incident.
