2 Injured After School Bus Involved in Crash in Miami

Two people were injured after a school bus was involved in a crash in Miami Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. in the 2500 block of Southwest 34th Avenue. Footage showed the bus and at least one other car were involved in the crash.

Miami Police said the bus collided with the other vehicle, knocked over a light pole and partially hit a home.

Footage showed the bus and car were close to the front entrances of a pair of homes, and police and a fire truck were at the scene.

Fire officials said two people, the bus driver and driver's aide, were injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital but were expected to be okay. None of the 10 students from Coral Gables Senior High who were on the bus were injured.

No other information was immediately known.
