Search Continues for Men Who Robbed Miami Restaurant Owner at Gunpoint

  • Miami Police continue looking for two men caught on tape robbing a Miami restaurant manager at gunpoint on July 4th.

Miami Police are looking for two men that were caught on camera breaking into a restaurant and robbing the manager at gunpoint.

The incident took place shortly before 5 PM on July 4th at the Philly Grub restaurant located at 99 NW 54th Street. Two men entered the kitchen area, with the one armed with a gun demanding the manager’s property while the other held a witness to avoid him fleeing the scene.

The men got away with jewelry, a cell phone and the victim’s wallet. They were later captured using the victim’s bank card at a CVS the same day off Biscayne Boulevard.

The armed suspect was described as a black male between 17 and 19 years old, around 5’7” and was wearing a red hoodie, dark blue sweats with a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp. logo, white socks, and black sandals with a white logo.

The second suspect was listed as a black male between 15 and 16 year old, around 5’6” tall with a small afro and was last seen wearing a white tank top, red and black basketball shorts, white socks and black sandals with a white logo.
