The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries, specifically burglaries of plumbing trucks and their equipment.
The thieves hit three work vans in Pompano Beach and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea last week.
In one case, they were seen on surveillance video pulling up in a white SUV, then one guy hops out and stole thousands of dollars worth of plumbing tools out of a van.
