Family friends gathered at the teen's home to support the family following the discovery.

Investigators said information they gathered led them to the area of Southwest 392nd Street (or Ingraham Highway) and Southwest 232nd Avenue in Homestead, where the teen’s abandoned car was discovered, police said.
