SeaWorld Treating Dolphin Rescued From Clearwater Beach

Authorities say a rough-toothed dolphin found beached on Clearwater Beach is being treated by veterinarians at SeaWorld Orlando.

Crews from Clearwater Marine Aquarium retrieved the dolphin on Sunday.

The Tampa Tribune reports the 200-pound, 7-foot male dolphin was placed in quarantine, where veterinarians gave it fluids and antibiotics. The dolphin was extremely weak.

According to a release from the theme park, the dolphin will receive round-the-clock care as needed.
