Second Suspect Arrested in Infant Shooting

Teen and his niece were were shot in Liberty City in gang warfare

Miami Police have arrested another man in connection with the Liberty City shooting of a 17-year-old boy and his 1-year-old niece last month.

Jean Francios Pierre, 22, has been charged with attempted murder for the Aug. 2 shooting, but police aren't sure if he is the one that pulled the trigger.

Police had said 16-year-old Luis Hernandez was the triggerman and arrested the teen on Aug. 5. Hernandez was accused of shooting James Taylor in the head on his mom's front porch.

A second bullet entered the house and struck 1-year-old Janaisiah Hudson in the leg.

Hernandez denied shooting Taylor, but remains in Miami-Dade jail on attempted murder charges. Now he has company.

All authorities are saying is that Pierre was involved in the shooting. Police are also looking for Duslee "Black" Jones.

Authorities believe the shooting was gang-related. Taylor is still in the hospital.
