Serial Liquor Store Burglar Rams Shops With SUV: Miami-Dade Police

Police in Miami-Dade are looking for a serial liquor store burglar who uses an SUV to smash into businesses.

The suspect is wanted in at least four separate burglaries, all of which have happened in the past few days. In the burglaries, the suspect has rammed the glass door of the businesses with a silver Saturn Vue. Once inside, he grabs bottles of liquor and lottery tickets, police said.

Police released surveillance video of the Nov. 28 burglary of Tropical Park Liquors at 7971 Southwest 40th Street. The video shows the suspect drive the car into the entrance several times before running inside, grabbing some items, and fleeing in the SUV.

On the same day, the suspect burglarized the Publix liquors at 9951 W. Flagler Street. He burglarized the same Publix early Friday morning, along with Pinero Groceries at 2440 Southwest 67th Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11, with a thin build. The Saturn Vue is missing a rear window, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
