State Eying Porn Tax

If the old adage "sex sells" is true, then state legislators are trying to cash in.

No, you won't get to see your favorite wrinkly old state rep or congressman doing scenes with Jenna Jameson or Wesley Pipes (at least not in mass release).

But at a recent meeting about tax exemptions, legislators flirted with the idea of adding a special tax to adult products such as porn, inflatable dolls and dildos.

"We might have some frequent users in the Legislature, and that might cause a problem," Senate Democratic Leader Al Lawson joked during the meeting.

You don't say.

Such a tax would be sure to get a rise out of some consumers during these hard economic times.

One thing you don't do is mess with a man's porn.
