Two people escaped unharmed after the small plane they were on crashed in the Everglades in South Florida Monday.
Miami-Dade Police officials said they plane was found around 1:30 p.m. by an aviation unit that was conducting an aerial patrol about 10 miles west of Miami-Opa-locka Executive Airport.
Footage showed the plane completely flipped over in a grassy area not far from a dirt roadway off Northwest 42nd Avenue in Miami-Dade.
The plane's two occupants weren't injured and were rescued from the scene, officials said.

The plane is believed to be the same one used by a Cuban pilot last month who defected and landed at Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport.
National Transportation Safety Board officials confirmed that the plane that crashed Monday was a Cuban-registered Antonov An-2, the same type used by Cuban pilot Ruben Martinez Machado.
The NTSB hasn't confirmed it's the same plane but the tail number appeared to match.
