Authorities in Pembroke Pines were called to North Perry Airport on Friday.
A Broward College flight school aircraft made a hard landing at the airport.
School officials said the Tecnam Twin Model P2006T N17055 experienced a gear issue upon landing.
No injuries were reported.
Broward College released a statement that read in part, "The health and safety of all Broward College students, faculty and staff is of the utmost importance."
The incident remains under investigation and all Tecnam aircraft have been grounded until the investigation is complete, according to the college.
